Ray Dream Designer 4
Ray Dream Designer 4 reads jpeg files sequences, so Texturemations can be used directly
from the CD with no additional work .
To load an image sequence:
- from the Windows menu select the "Shaders Edit" entry. This will bring up the
Shaders Editor.
- Select the "Components" tab and then choose "Movies".
- Use the resulting "File Open" dialog to locate the directory that contains the
sequence you want. Click on the "Files of type:" list box and select
"Sequenced JPEG". You will probably also want to use the options button to tell
Ray Dream Designer to keep these textures as external files (otherwise it will copy them
into it's own database). Ray Dream Designer uses the implicit method
of specifying a sequence of image files, so select the first jpeg file from the
sequence you've chosen.
- As soon an image sequence is loaded a thumbnail of the texture will be displayed in the
Shaders Editor dialog box, as well as upon any models the shader has been applied to,like
this:
