Adobe PremiereVersion 4.2 of Premiere understands jpeg files, but not sequences of them. It does understand targa files sequences. Use the unjpeg tool to decompress the images on the Texturemations CD into 24-bit targa format. These can then be used by Premiere as a targa sequence. You import a sequence of targa file by opening a file, clicking on Targa Sequence in the List files of Type menu and then selecting the starting image of the desired sequence.
This will create a clip. It will probably assign a duration of 30 frames to each image, which is unlikely to be what you want. You change this with either the speed or duration selections from the Clip pull down menu. The default rate is 100, here we are making the clip 30 times faster, which makes for a duration of 1 frame per image.
