NotesPlus extends Softimages ModelNotes plugin to let one easily scan the scene for any softimage elements, not just models, which have attached notes. Unlike ModelNotes, which is only available on NT, NotesPlus runs on all Softimage platforms. By default it uses its own editor, but it can easily be configured to use the editor of your choice. NotesPlus uses the UDEdit tools which in turn uses the SoftWish find utility. NotesPlus reads and writes the same notes as Softimage ModelNotes does. Model->Info->NotesPlus will bring up the a tree view of your scene
NotesPlus always presents a tree view of the current scene. If there are elements in the current scene with attached notes, NotesPlus opens the first such note it finds and displays it. Select any other note from the tree view of the current scene and NotesPlus displays it instead. If you want to add a note to an element which does not have one, select that element by right-clicking the mouse and choose New Note.
